Template: hundred percent
This template will automatically adjust to screen resolution. This is a great advantage for me and now I developing a template similar to the one I have now, but it seems to me that it will be more interesting. But it's future.
OK! But back to the current my template:
I don't know how you have your screen resolution, but you probably have a resolution similar to mine, if you also see my site perfectly. I have 1280px and I currently publish images with width of 1300px. This width fits perfectly into my computer. If someone has a lower resolution it's also all looks perfect, because as I wrote earlier picture automatically adjusts. Try for example, reduce the size of the browser and you will see that photo, text and the whole look of site again fits perfectly.
A small problem arises when you have a bigger screen, or when you post a picture smaller than the 1300px. Then is much free, empty space.
I tested this template in all major browsers: Opera, Chrome,Firefox and IE8

I saw the whole blog (it was just born).
Cool work in 1024 size. A question: is this one of the 10 blog?
Do you remember the list you propose? I'm trying to find then.
B
Yeah, you're right, cool photo blog with large images.
Yes, I remember about a list of ten favorite blogs and all the time I trying to make this set, but admits it is hard, very hard. I still reject something but on the other hand it is difficult to reject something good and something that I like, but I said ten, and it will be only ten ;-)

What happened?
swinging imagination or iPhoneography NYC again
Yes, I saw all the pictures on iPhoneography NYC. I watch this blog for a long time, and began with the main blog 24gotham. But rarely has there appear new pictures, it appears, that a small camera iPhone is more handy than a big SLR ;-)
In total, I think so too. Yes, quality is important but not essential. We can have the best SLR camera, and don't taken interesting photos. Quality can be wonderful, but what will happen, that lack of ideas for interesting photos....NOTHING!!!
There are many such blogs in the network, where the authors brag that they are great cameras, which use aperture, exposure time, and so on.....and so on.....and....NOTHING!.......Their vision of the world is not interesting.
Photographer need a theme, passion and swinging imagination and at the end possibly good equipment.
Do you agree with this?
iPhoneography NYC - is one of the best blogs that I follow in the net.
And if I had to choose ten of my favorite photo blogs, iPhoneography NYC would have been there
PS:
Hey solar sister, or maybe some fun in selecting our ten favorite photoblogs?
Not individual photos, or gallery, but regular photoblogs?
Of course, we omit in this summary our blogs ;-)))
And it need not also be arranged in order, just ten favorites and inspiring photoblogs.
What do you think about? It's that cool and inspiring fun? ;-)
OK! If you agree, we have one week for this choice.
PS 2:
Then, another time can be: ten writers, ten artists, ten blogging about other topics......yeah, the list could be endless ;-)

Absolutely correct. Totally agree. I'm questioning my photographic action for some time.
...attempts to make something different. I can't. Complicated. Then I commit the same photos as always.
But what I value is persistence and we are persistent you and me. Because photography is the way to observe the life around.
I accept the challenges (10 new photography sites in a week is overkill for me ;-)but...
Go, go! I will do my contribution, OK?

Both versions are excellent. I loved to see people calmly walking and enjoying the light
I personally prefer the sepia one for Sentimental Reasons but the world can't be only mono, is not it? I think photography is the art of challenge and in your current work I realize that: your quest for BEAUTY and its variations. Am I right?
By the way... to watch the life from the inside... this corresponds to our work (shooting). Hahahaha I'm thinking like that sometimes. Work!

hero or traitor ?
This note relates to this post: Insulted by Authors - still books and your short note, that in August, will visit Brazil, Lech Walesa
Well, Lech Walesa is another story. Although personally, he's not my favorite person, mainly for parochial, primitive religiosity. But for me he has great merit in the transformation of political system in Poland. Unfortunately, as in Poland, opinions are divided as to its merits. Jealous and stupid people who in days gone by they sat quietly, or there were not even born, now accuse him of cooperating with intelligence and police. It's bullshit!! These fools would like to revolution was bloody and that was many casualties. Then it would be for what to pray and to flaunt their victims around the world. So be the Christ of nations, yeah here in Poland are plenty of fools, which consider that it truth...hahahahah..... Shame and disgrace
In conclusion I appreciate Walesa for accomplishment bloodless revolution and other peaceful achievement,
but I don't like his personality. Hmm, PARADOX?
OK! And another conclusion: No need to be someone's friend, to appreciate him
F
I really appreciate your testimony. This is the way to understand more and more about ourselves and about our society. Thank you, F!

B
Well, in Poland, he is not so valued. Mainly, that he promote communism and cooperation with the intelligence. The upside is that it does not displace his views and believes that this was the right thing at that time. I write, that's his advantage (no crowding out of ideas), because many famous people who have previously praised and supported the ideas of communism, now they say that's not true, or that they were forced to do so. And that's not true, then ordinary careerists and opportunists. Once they were the communists, now they are the great catholic....hahahahahah

BUDAPEST

My pen moves along the page
like the snout of a strange animal
shaped like a human arm
and dressed in the sleeve of a loose green sweater
I watch it sniffing the paper ceaselessly
intent as any forager that has nothing on its mind
but the grubs and insects
that will allow it to live another day
It wants only to be here tomorrow
dressed, perhaps, in the sleeve of a plaid shirt
nose pressed against the page
writing a few more dutyful lines
while I gaze out the window
and imagine Budapest

......................but from the perspective of an American writer.
Is it possible that an American wrote a good book about Brazil?
Magic, it's first of all what captivates me in this novel and I like this incredible love story.

It's a popular book here (in Portuguese, of course ;-)
The literary critics believe that UpDike came closer to the Brazilian reality. pay attention ... almost close. (we are copying the bad American behavior: today a shooter just killed 12 children in public school in Rio).

Sorry, you said about a inter ethnic love story... well...

By the way a beautiful art on the book cover above.
PS: I changed this text many times. It needs a new publication.;-)))

undoubtedly a wonderful way to travel. priority and respect for cyclists NOW!
unfortunately it is not a Brazilian habit. Sao Paulo do not have biking trails. some people are risking their lives to defend this idea and practice it.
my collaboration on this topic. still NY.

Unfortunately, it is similar in Poland. Few bike lanes and cyclists ride through the streets and on sidewalks

Paris again. This time: Yesterday and Today
ParisAvant.com
Each post is two pictures taken at the same place but at different times.
Divides them into about a hundred years
Interesting idea and I like this kind of blogs

ParisAvant is just the comparative record I tried to make time ago. Excellent performance of the author. CGT to him.
spread 'memes'(ideas around the planet).
Note: in the old time people had the streets. Today the priority is thousands of cars.
